Data we collect

  • Enquiry forms: name, email, optional engagement interest, property type, and message content.
  • Engagement work: business contact details, property information, and analytics exports you supply. We ask clients to share aggregated or anonymised guest metrics where possible and to avoid unnecessary personal identifiers.
  • Technical logs: standard server or hosting logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) if enabled by our host.

Purposes

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, deliver contracted services, issue invoices, improve site reliability, and meet legal obligations.

Depending on context: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; legitimate interests in operating a hospitality analytics practice; consent where required for non-essential cookies; and legal obligations.

Retention

Enquiry messages are retained up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement or dispute. Engagement records are retained for up to seven years for accounting and professional reference, then deleted or anonymised. Analytics exports supplied by clients are deleted within 30 days after engagement close unless a written agreement requires a shorter or longer period.

Sharing

We use processors for email, hosting, and document storage under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data when required by Malaysian law or to protect legal rights.

International transfers

If processors store data outside Malaysia, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Your rights

Subject to Malaysian personal data protection law, you may request access, correction, or limitation of processing, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise rights, email info@portalcorner.click. You may also contact the relevant supervisory authority in Malaysia.

Children

Our services are directed at hospitality businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
